Street Urchins Attack Vehicle Conveying Journalists on Tinubu's Entourage in Lagos.

Street urchins popularly known as area boys on Sunday attacked a bus conveying journalists on the entourage of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, smashing it's screens and windows.

The incident occured on Lagos Island, immediately Tinubu, in company of prominent politicians across the country in his entourage left the place of Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos, where he had gone to pay homage.

Asiwaju Tinubu was arriving Lagos for the first time, twelve days after he won the APC primaries held in Abuja to emerge as presidential candidate of his party.

According to eye witness reports, two journalists sustained severe injuries while others did not leave unscathed when the popular area boys attacked their vehicle, throwing stones and other dangerous objects.

Ojo Majority News could not confirm as at press time the reason for this attack or whether it was politically motivated.
